Mothra is also able to fly over bosses when she couldn't in the original game, allowing her poison scales to have a better chance of hitting enemies. Balance Buff: In Entropy, Zach learns that Mothra's eyebeams now deal the same damage as Godzilla's punches.Alas, Poor Scrappy: In-universe, Mothra dies to the Final Boss first, and as much as Zach hates playing as her he feels it was a terrible way for her to go out.Zachary is not a tremendous fan of her gameplay, however. The Queen of the Monsters and ally of Godzilla, Mothra serves as the second playable character in the game. Godzilla gets plenty of screentime in this creepypasta. Out of Focus: Notably subverted for a fanfic with original characters in it.Jack of All Stats: While he's not the strongest, fastest or toughest monster out there, he still has a good balance.Eaten Alive: Godzilla gets eaten by Red during the final battle.And even though Zach admits Solomon is a better character, he still feels more used to Godzilla's style. Boring, but Practical: Godzilla might not have flight like Mothra and he may walk slower than Anguirus's rolling attack, but he has no real weaknesses and plenty of health to take on bosses with.This is downplayed in later chapters when the bosses and even the environment ramped up in difficulty, forcing Zach to use his other monsters. The Ace: Godzilla is Zach's most preferred monster, and it shows when Zach beats the first 2 worlds and Pathos using only Godzilla.As the main character of the game, he serves as Zach's most-played monster. The game implies she was resurrected within the game and was able to provide closure to Zachary after he beat Red. Was Once a Man: Melissa was Zachary's deceased girlfriend who suffered from implied schizophrenia, which lead to her accidental death.She has no wings and no facial features other than her blue eyes. Our Angels Are Different: Although specified as being one in-game, she bears more of a resemblance to a half-finished statue.Emotionless Girl: According to Zachary, whenever she went into her "episodes", she would speak in a monotonous voice and keep a completely straight face.
Deus ex Machina: Her intervention and freeing of Acacius.Big Good: Being dead isn't enough to stop her from doing everything she can to interfere with Red's plans for her boyfriend.Red was the reason she died and her soul has been tortured by him ever since. She was noted to have a mental disability of some sort which caused her to go into "episodes". Zach's girlfriend, who died before the events of the story. He decides to sell the game cartridge on eBay, which leads to the events of Godzilla: Replay. So What Do We Do Now?: The entire experience has left Zach totally depressed and unsure what to do next.Featureless Protagonist: Not much is known about Zach, other than he's over 18 and is an avid Godzilla fan.Does Not Like Spam: When face asks "Is Peanut Butter Good" Zack answers "No".It's later revealed that Red was behind it. Dark and Troubled Past: His girlfriend during his middle school days, Melissa, died in a accident.The Cameo: He wrote Carl an email during Chapter 2 of Replay, responding that he doesn't know how the game manages to create entire worlds.Backstory: The whole creepypasta is him telling his whole ordeal he managed to survive.Ain't Too Proud to Beg: He tries pleading with Red to let him go, but Red refuses.Action Survivor: Manages to survive through the entire game fighting through monsters out to kill him through a video game.Except this turns out to not be your average copy of that game. So yeah, I think that I'd rather stay faithful to the Original Game rather than the Godzilla Creepypasta Story.The main protagonist of the first creepypasta, Zachary (or just Zach) obtains a copy of Godzilla: Monster of Monsters! from a friend and proceeds to boot the game up to relive his nostalgia for it. I don't have a problem with the Creepypasta story itself, but I get tired of it overshadowing the original GMOM game. Also the Creepypasta story seems "kinda" unfaithful because the colors are not accurate for the NES's limitations, and it being made at the time when sprite ripping was primitive. And it seems that the Creepypasta story's popularity ruined GMOMs modern AI System which led to adding it's information on GMOM Articles to various wikis like Wikizilla, Gojipedia, and even 'the GMOM Article' on Wikapedia which is misleading. There were a lot of requests by fans about the creator finishing 'Chapter 6' from his second story. There were a lot of comments that use the quotes from the Creepypasta story or mentions about it in various GMOM Media since 2011 (Example: Some Seen Below in the tab).
